Utilities

• Power, water, and internet are relatively stable at Marazul Dive Resort. There are occasional power outages lasting a few hours and usually impact large parts of the island.

• Water is very good; produced from a desalination plant, and can be consumed right from the tap.

• Internet is supplied via fiber optics.

​

• Electricity and water are very expensive on the island roughly five times that of US rates.With the constant cooling breezes most people on the island do without air conditioning or only run the air conditioner at night.Please remain comfortable and conserve where possible.
